Hello everyone! Here are the mixed flavors I’ll be reviewing!
The first is [ AlFakher Jasmine ] I bought this flavor for mixing and it works great!
The second one is from the same brand AlFakher, [ AlFakher Earl Grey ]. This one tasted gorgeous on its own and was delicious!
The third one is [ Afzal Vanilla ]. I am ashamed to admit that I have never smoked anything sweet or creamy like this before, but I decided to be brave and try a variety of flavors, so I bought this one.
Half of the bowl is filled with jasmine. A little bit of vanilla on the bottom of the other half, and Earl Grey on top of that. I put the flavors in a ratio of about 5:3:2.
I hope you can enjoy the change in taste from the beginning to the end as the temperature is raised. I used Oduman Ignis in Samsaris Vitria and started it up with 2 pieces of flat charcoal. I left it to stand for about 10 minutes before smoking it out!
From the very first sip, Earl Grey was the main aroma, with jasmine in the background. It was hard to tell that it was jasmine. It was like a mild Earl Grey!
After about 40 minutes, I added two flat charcoal halves! The aroma gradually became more and more distinctly vanilla! However, due to the small amount, it was only faintly vanilla, and I didn’t get a vanilla feeling. I smoked it for about an hour.
I smoked it for about an hour, and I could smell all the flavors coming together at this point. I really wanted to get a little more vanilla here, to make it more like the Earl Grey and vanilla tea that actually exists as a tea arrangement, but since this was my first time using vanilla flavor, I was too scared to add only a little, so the vanilla was a little weak. Maybe I could have added a little more!
I was not a fan of the sweet & mottled flavor, but by the end I was like, “More! I want more vanilla!” I was like “W!
I would like to try it again with some adjustments to the ratios and heat level.
I would like to try it again by adjusting the ratio and heat. Also, I had the impression that a little less jasmine would have been good in this mix.
I think I was able to get over the sweet and sticky flavors. If you have any recommendations for vanilla flavors that you bought this time, please let me know!
